Demirciköy Rooftop

2016, Istanbul – Kilyos. Reconstruction of the roof floor of a 4-storey villa located among the greenery with forest views, designing and implementing the bedroom, bathroom, mechanical room, warehouse and balcony areas. After removing the roof of the space, the section of the iron profiles, which go up from four corners, carries the newly manufactured roof together with metal beams.

This theme was inspired in the choice of materials and colors by the request of the sea-themed design by the customer. It has been tried to provide integrity in the project with 8 different types of ceramics, armchairs, fireplaces and other used elements manufactured for the project. In order to simplify the manufacturing of the roof, special production details were applied using modular, heat and sound insulated elements as coating material, and the production was done in workshops and the roof was quickly closed at the construction site.
